This year Burford Quakers (Society of Friends) are celebrating the three hundredth anniversary of their Meeting House, a simple and beautiful building that has remained largely unchanged since the first stone was laid in 1709. To mark the anniversary Burford Friends have organised a series of events and they would like to welcome members of the public to the following: |

| April 1st - October 31st | AN EXHIBITION OF QUAKER MEMORABILIA Tolsey Museum |

| May 11th - 16th | QUAKER TAPESTRIES: a photographic display showing aspects of the work of Friends past and present. Burford Meeting House |

| July 5th | MEETING HOUSE GARDEN OPEN

| July 9th | QUAKER CLOCKMAKERS OF NORTH OXFORDSHIRE

| September 12th | RIDE AND STRIDE |

| October 3rd - 11th | NATIONAL QUAKER WEEK An opportunity to take part in events at local Meeting Houses. |

| December 13th | Burford Meeting LUNCH to mark the end of our year of celebration.
